Ellyse Perry asked to choose between cricket or football
The Ashes-winning fast bowler has split her time between cricket and football since first selected to represent Australia in both sports, aged 16, The Age reported.
But Canberra United chief executive Heather Reid wants Perry to give full time to Canberra United and attend training every day.
"Ellyse needs to choose whether she wants to be a full-time Canberra United player and commit to training every day like everyone else does," Reid told ABC Grandstand.
"Or if she still wants to try and mix her cricket commitment with football, then perhaps she will need to find another club."
Reid admitted the pressure was coming from coach Jitka Klimkova, who is also W-League coach of the year.
Reid said Klimkova was "trying to build a much more professional football culture and she needs players fully committed to football".
