Delhi: It was a pleasant Monday morning for the whole of India as star cricketer Yuvraj Singh returned home after successfully battling cancer. Following a rousing reception at Delhi, Yuvraj drove straight to his home in Gurgaon and took a few minutes to acknowledge the media present outside his house from the terrace of his house.
Yuvraj looked very happy to be back home and said he was waiting to have his mom's specially prepared dish 'gobi ke paranthe'. Meanwhile, Yuvraj's mother Shabnam Singh expressed her satisfaction and said, "I am very happy that he's back. He will rest for at least 10-15 days before he starts training. He will meet the doctors once again after three months. The great news is that he is absolutely fine"
Yuvraj Singh, who underwent three cycles of chemotherapy in United States for a rare germ cell cancer between his lungs, returned to the country on Monday to a rousing reception from adoring fans in Delhi.
