It's all over folks and as expected, Bangalore have defeated Pune by 35 runs. Upadhyay struck a six over the mid-wicket region off the first ball off the last over from Vinay Kumar. However it was all too late for Pune.
Good all-round show by Bangalore. Gayle got them to a flying start and then Dilshan too brought up his fifty. Saurabh Tiwary chipped in with a useful 36 to power RCB to 173 from their 20 overs. The bowlers carried the momentum forward to the second half of the game as Zaheer struck twice n his first over. Pune needed a firm partnership but lost wickets at regular intervals, losing the match eventually by 35 runs.
