10.10 pm - Sachin, Levi produce scorching start
Predictably, Richard Levi looked a tad nervous in the first over. Perhaps, more than the first IPL game it is batting with Tendulkar at the other end that maybe giving the youngster some jitters. The South African cracked his first boundary, there was not much of a flourish but it flew away on the off-side. Dwayne Bravo pulled out an electric stop -- when it comes to fielding in CSK, he is the Chennai 'superb' King. Ok, we won't try to bore you out with our bagful of the most boring PJs. I will try to concentrate more on the match.
Simon Taufel is trying to umpire at square-leg and Manjrekar and Sivaramakrishnan(hope I spelt it correctly!) have been in his years. Yep, we know this is the IPL!
Tendulkar didn't get much strike in the first three overs, but he started off with a majestic punch through the covers. What came next was even more breathtaking -- Sachin went down and carved Albie for a six on the off-side. There were two jaffas from Albie, but none could get the Little Master. After a scratchy first over, Richard Levi showed why Mumbai paid all the bucks for him. He's been muscling all the short balls across the ropes. The best one was a straight-hit four off Bollinger.
Mumbai Indians require another 79 runs with 10 wickets and 16.0 overs remaining
