Date: 11 May, 2014
Result: Rajasthan won by 5 wickets
First innings score: 190/5
Second innings score: 191/5

Opting to bat at the home ground, Bangalore lost three wickets in no time before the woefully out-of-form Yuvraj Singh walked out to join AB de Villiers in the middle. Yuvi proved his critics wrong with a heroic knock of 83, off just 38 deliveries, powering the hosts to a commanding total of 190 against Rajasthan. Adding insult to injury, Yuvi picked up 4 wickets too to completely put Rajasthan off track. With 66 required off the last four overs and with the odds stacked comprehensively against them, Steve Smith (48*) and James Faulkner (41*) did the impossible to stun the packed Chinnaswamy Stadium. It was raining fours and sixes, and the ones the local crowd wasn’t expecting, as Rajasthan chased down the massive total with seven balls to spare.
