Bipul Sharma joined the party and in a rather late attempt, went for a couple of big shots. A six and a four off Rahul Sharma in the 18th over however that was not to be enough for a victory.

Dinda picked up another wicket, removing Faulkner this time for just 3. Skipper Ganguly taking another smart catch. Punjab required 36 runs required off the last 6 balls, not impossible but was always going to be very difficult. Bipul Sharma got a life off the first ball as Samuels dropped him off his own bowling. He went for a six and a four but that wasn't exactly what Punjab needed. In the end, a convincing victory for Pune Warriors, by 22 runs.

So both the winning teams today, Rajasthan Royals and Pune Warriors, captained by former Indian captains Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly respectively, have won by 22 runs. Co-incidence!
