Bahar to sue Lotus owner over sacking - report
Lotus F1 Formula One driver Romain Grosjean of France celebrates taking second position in the Canadian F1 Grand Prix at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal June 10, 2012.
The Turkish born Swiss was dismissed at the end of an investigation by Lotus' owner DRB-Hicom into Bahar's conduct.
That was amid rumours Bahar used Lotus funds to extensively refurbish his several houses.
The Swiss newspaper Bilanz reports that Bahar is filing a suit in London's High Court for wrongful termination.
The report said Bahar, 40, denies the claims about renovating his homes with Lotus money.
And he also reportedly denies improperly using company funds for private jets and helicopters.
Group Lotus and Proton, the DRB-Hicom-owned Malaysian carmaker, did not comment.
Bahar did not respond to an email.
