Hamilton's sights are set on winning the season finale in Abu Dhabi in the first F1 race to start in daylight but finish under floodlights.

"We've had a fantastic second half of the season. It would be perfect to end the year with a win. That would send us into the winter fully motivated and pumped up for 2010," The Sun quoted the McClaren star, as saying.

Hamilton - who has scored 40 of his 49 points in the last seven races - said: "I don't want to take anything away from Jenson - he deserved to win and did an incredible job this year when the pressure on him was immense. I know just what he has been going through since winning the title. But the plan is to get the title back from him next year. I want the number one back on my car."
