2007-08: Yuvraj Singh - The southpaw was never of Test class and he proved that again during the 2007-08 series. He was completely caught napping against the moving ball and his performance was nothing short of a complete disaster. He aggregated just 17 runs from 4 innings and managed to cross single digit only once in the process.

2011-12: Rohit Sharma - It is a massive opportunity for the immensely talented Rohit Sharma at the highest level. For years now, he has been seen as a prodigy but time has come for him to deliver on the big stage. Rohit has the technique and temperament and with Sachin's company in Mumbai Indians squad, he has the right mentor as well. Rohit was in great form during the just-concluded ODI series against the West Indies where he was awarded 'Man of the Series.' But, the big question remains. Will he get a chance in the playing XI?
