Greatest chases in T20 history
Date: October 11, 2008
Venue: Maple Leaf North-West Ground, King City
Fixture: Pakistan Vs Sri Lanka
Result: Pakistan won by 3 wickets with 1 ball remaining
Man-of-the-Match: Shoaib Malik
Chasing a target of 138, Pakistan kept losing wickets on one end and looked in real trouble as the run rate kept going down. At the end of the 16th over it was 92/7 with the required run rate at 11.50. However, Shoaib Malik took charge from then onwards and with some good support from Fawad Alam, they brought it down to 13 from the last over. The two made it look easy with Alam hitting a six off the second and Malik hitting two consecutive fours on the 4th and the 5th delivery to finish off Sri Lanka.
