Test matches between India and England have often been dull affairs. The two teams have faced each other 103 times in the past and 46 of those encounters have resulted in draws. Nevertheless, the games have produced some of the finest batting efforts from either side. Take a look at MSN's top ten picks of the lot.

Fixture: India tour of England, 4th Test, 2002
Venue: The Oval, London
Knock: 217 off 468 balls
Result: Match drawn

Dravid continued his imperious form on the 2002 tour of England with a glowing double-ton. The knock finished off a fairytale series for Dravid who ended scoring up two hundreds and one double ton in the four-match encounter. With his 217 in The Oval Test, Dravid completed more than 30 hours of batting on the tour. His innings was flawless, giving the English bowlers not even a sniff of his wicket. No wonder it was run-out which brought down 'The Wall.'
