Love doesn't get more colourful
It’s called the ‘Happiest 5k on the Planet’. There are no winners or prizes involved. The only rules are that all participants have to wear white at the starting line and finish without a clean spot on their bodies.
The ‘color run’, held across different continents throughout the year, is an untimed race aimed at celebrating the joy of running. It seeks to look beyond the finish line, to encourage healthy living and to create positive energy. After every kilometre, the runners pass through a colour station and are sprayed with a different colour.
Originally started in Utah, United States in 2012, the run has now spread to 23 countries and is gaining wider appeal. Take a look at some eye-catching action from this unique event in this special collection.
