It's fast. It's frantic. It's meant for young blood. Are you serious? A large chunk of cricketers plying their trade in the forthcoming T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka are aged either thirty or more. Here's a list of some of the oldest cricketers taking part in the Lankan extravaganza

(Afghanistan does not have any 30/+ player in their squad.)

Oldest player: Brad Hogg, 41

What he brings to the game: Despite announcing his retirement in 2008, Hogg made a comeback to international cricket with a smashing performance in the inaugural Big Bash League and incredibly won back his place in the national side at the age of 40. An unorthodox spinner, don't discount Hoggy's batting skills, when it comes to giving it a long thwack in the middle.
