In a bold move, the BCCI selection committee dropped the woefully out of form opener Gautam Gambhir and called up Ajinkya Rahane and Shikhar Dhawan instead. While veteran batsman Virender Sehwag managed to hold on his spot in the team, the experienced Harbhajan Singh will be making a comeback for his 100th Test. Injuries to Zak and Umesh Yadav have opened the doors to Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and surprisingly enough, Suresh Raina, who scored a Irani Cup ton days ago, was overlooked.
