Croizon had all four limbs amputated in 1994 after being struck by an electric shock of more than 20,000 volts as he tried to remove a TV antenna from a roof. He has swum across the English Channel and all five intercontinental channels
French Philippe Croizon became the first quadruple amputee to dive at a depth of 33 meters in the deepest swiming pool in the world in Brussels. He used flippers attached to prosthetic limbs to dive to the bottom of the pool with a group of 15 Belgian divers to set a new world record for an amputee.
