Leading from the front, skipper Unmukt Chand scored a match-winning unbeaten century to help India clinch their third U-19 World Cup title. However, it wasn't all about Unmukt. Sandeep Sharma bagged four wickets at crucial points in the Australian innings to restrict the hosts to 225 in their allotted 50 overs. Not to forget some of the excellent fielding efforts and sharp run outs affected by the boys. In their chase, India started off well but few quick wickets saw them in a spot of trouble until wicketkeeper batsman Smit Patel contributed a well made 62 to the fifth wicket unbeaten partnership along with skipper Chand (111* off 130 balls) to see India through.
