All-star cast of former footballers roll back the years in the annual charity match
Stars like Zinedine Zidane and Ronaldo returned to action in a friendly match to raise funds for survivors of the Philippines typhoon this week.
An all-star line-up played for a UN Development Programme team against the Swiss side BSC Young Boys in Bern in the 11th annual Match Against Poverty on March 4.
World Cup-winning captain Fabio Cannavaro, Portuguese midfielder Luís Figo, Italian defender Paolo Maldini, Brazilian female player Marta and ex-Arsenal star Freddie Ljungberg also took part.
Zidane's side won an entertaining match 8-6.
Fifa and Uefa have pledged that two-thirds of the money from TV rights and ticket sales for the match this year will go to people affected by the natural disaster in the Philippines. The storm that struck the Yolanda region last November left more than 6,200 people dead.
