What actually happened? More than bizarre, this dismissal of Hashim Amla should classify as a freakish one. Such dismissals have happened before as well but this was a ripper. Amla under-edged a Nathan McCullum top-spinner. That ball hit the boot of Nathan's brother, Brendon McCullum before finding its way to Daniel Vettori in the first slip position. Bizarre as it may sound, it was true. Amla had to go caught by Vettori in first slip off Nathan McCullum. Now, that's what the record books say.
