Spaniard Fernando Alonso of Ferrari denied Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull a grand victory at his home track by leading from lap 50 and maintaining it all the way to the chequered flag, hence claiming the German Grand Prix of 2010. Finishing in second place is the Brazilian, Felipe Massa of Ferrari, while Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull had to comply with a third place finish.
