Mahendra Singh Dhoni turns 30 on the seventh of July. From a quiet debut against Bangladesh in 2004, to winning the 2011 World Cup, India’s favourite skipper has come a long way. What a knock that was!
2005, Visakhapatnam: Mahendra Singh Dhoni announced his arrival in style against Pakistan, smashing 15 fours and 4 sixes enroute to a superb knock of 148 in just his fifth ODI. This powered India to a superb first innings total of 356/9, and they went on to win by 58 runs. The 'Jharkhand Jadoogar' hasn't looked back ever since.
